Beautiful World

Inspired today by...

Lovely berries... sadly, not edible.

The skeleton of an Autumn bloom.

Beautiful, beautiful textures like the peeling bark of a crepe myrtle,

a pile of mossy iron ore rocks,

and the spiky trunk of a Hackberry tree (no fun to bump into).

Filing away images in my brain, adding to an ever-growing visual vocabulary.  

Sketching impressions to help me process and remember.

Trying to say more with less...fewer lines, less color.  

Celebrating the essence, the feeling of each object.
