Happiness is a butterfly, which when pursued, is always just beyond your grasp, but which, if you will sit down quietly, may alight upon you. ~Nathaniel Hawthorne
I've been very busy in the studio lately! Here are some images of the winged creatures I've been creating in polymer clay. It was fun putting them in a natural environment to take the photographs...sort of makes you take a second glance.
Tomorrow I will begin turning these into necklaces. Hope you enjoyed looking!
Your dragonfly is incredible! Your detailed shading makes the wings look like metal work, very cool. All the pretty flowers & your butterflys (moths?) look good enough to eat :-)
ReplyDeleteWill be fun to see what you do with them.
I love the way you use nature for a backdrop. Very pretty. I especially like the bigger butterfly. It would make a lovely gifty...
ReplyDeleteMy point being, watch out for Dakota Joe sneakin' round... ;-)
ReplyDeleteJanice,
