The Art of Living

From my art journal this morning...

I found this quote yesterday and it really has me thinking.

A master in the art of living draws no sharp distinction between his work and his play; his labor and his leisure; his mind and his body; his education and his recreation.
He hardly knows which is which. He simply pursues his vision of excellence through whatever he is doing, and leaves others to determine whether he is working or playing.
To himself, he always appears to be doing both.
François-René de Chateaubriand

It intrigues me...this notion of knitting the pieces of my life so thoroughly together that they become a seamless composition of "labor and leisure".  Is it really possible?   Sometimes it seems too good to be true.

I am so grateful that I'm allowed to pursue what I love.  I have to thank the huz for that...he is such a good guy and he puts up with all my messes and distractions with nary a complaint!  Love you, honey!  Mmmmwah!
